Bye Bye!

I finished everything and I feel such a relieve! I did the best I could and although I know I could have made some things better im happy with how everything came out and I cant wait for you to see it!
It's been a fun ride but sadly it has come to an end! I hope you enjoy The Benedetti Affair!

Process

Im really happy with the pace im processing at, this project is due in a week and im advancing fast, I put info in my website and im almost done with the gallery, all I need to do now is do a sum up of the story and the characters as well as find MUSIC! Im super anxious about the music element and so far I've found somewhat good music but its not what I want. 

Ive been researching movie trailer sounds and it says that stings, ambience and sound effects are key... AND IM FREAKING OUT. I tried to use garage band but I just don't get it, I tried making somewhat of a soundtrack but it sound like im tone death so we shall see how it turns out... oh boy. 

On the bright side my trailers are almost done and its looking awesome! im going to begin my poster some time this week and add it to my website as well! 

Say Cheese!

Time flew so fast its crazy! Today I did the photoshoot and I fell in love! everyone looked so good and they were so into it, one actor even brought his BB guns as props for the pictures!

As soon as I finished I worked on it all night, I photoshopped them with an app called Movavi photo editor and I stayed up until 2am editing them and adding them on to my website and well im super excited on how its coming out! I Also made a little teaser poster to add on. All I have to do now is put info on my website and it will be set! I also made a twitter and an Instagram for the movie to help with "promotion"

Almost there!

I filmed today and it came out awesome, we went to the back of a movie theater near my house which has a creepy ally way and filmed there. My actors got super into it and we made a pretty cool stunt. We also found this blood looking stain on the floor and I took advantage of it. I made one of my actors go on the floor and act dead (it was kind gross but hey it worked).

I decided im going to make one of my trailers a teaser trailer which is gonna be slower paced so the audience meets the characters and the other trailer will be fast paced and shorter. I really want to focus on the characters in my teaser trailer so thats why is going to be more detailed and also to show technique, mise-and-scene and composition. 

I searched up teaser trailers and I like the way they tell you something but nothing, however mine is going to be detailed. I saw the dead pool trailer and it was him just changing in a phone booth which was funny but I feel like it was too long. thats why mine are going to give some info and keep the audience engaged with the visuals . 

Decisions

I need to come up with a tittle! I have a few ideas that I like but I don't love.

Broken Ties

One of my peers gave me this title idea and I really like it because it basically explains the movie. Sicily knows she's doing something bad but doesn't want to think about it. She knows her family is not on the right path, but she also knows that she can't try to change her family or get out of it because she has been taught by her father that family is always over all. So I like how the title fits with the story and it gives away a bit of what will happen in the movie. (Her finally realizing it and breaking ties with her family) 

Family Business

This title also caught my eye because it has the same effect as the one above, it tells the audience what this movie will be about and what I like most about this one is that I am literally showing you the family business in the trailers and the role that each member of the family. However, I feel like the tittle seems a bit raw and doesn't sound as appealing 

Affari di Famiglia

I feel like this title will give the movie the true Italian mafia feel, affari di famiglia means family affair and although it sounds cool I don't want my audience to think this is an international movie or a movie thats all in Italian. But it also gives the movie a bit of mystery, maybe people will wonder what it means and look into it and once they see the trailers it will attract them. 

The Benedettis

This title indicates that the movie will be about a family, I like the way it sounds kind of interesting and the way it doesn't give anything away, which fits into how Sicily is explaining the roles in her family and the contrast between what she's describing and the actual reality.
